Use of the service

BuildMeATeam helps users discover potential matches and communicate when there is an eligible match or accepted connection. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for your interactions, decisions, agreements, and safety.

You must be at least 18 years old to use BuildMeATeam. By creating a profile or using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

BuildMeATeam currently limits matching, connection requests, and communication to people in the same country, with an exception for users in the United States and Canada. We may change supported countries or access rules over time.

No professional advice

BuildMeATeam does not provide legal, financial, tax, investment, real estate, business, safety, or professional advice. Before making commitments, payments, investments, purchases, partnerships, or shared ownership arrangements, consult qualified professionals.

No brokerage or guarantee

BuildMeATeam does not broker transactions, verify every user claim, guarantee matches, guarantee outcomes, manage user projects, hold funds, or become a party to agreements users may make with each other.

Project-support matching is not a recommendation, solicitation, securities offering, brokerage service, diligence report, verification of a supporter, or verification of a project or business. Users are responsible for their own legal, financial, tax, and business diligence.

Do not use BuildMeATeam to publicly offer or sell securities, solicit investors, negotiate securities terms, collect investment commitments, process payments, provide transaction-based compensation, or represent that BuildMeATeam has reviewed or approved any user, project, business, document, or transaction.

User conduct

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, deceive, spam, scrape, upload unlawful content, misuse private information, or use BuildMeATeam to violate law or another person's rights. We may remove content, suspend profiles, or restrict access to protect users.

We reserve the right to remove content, decline matches, suspend accounts, or ban users for inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, deceptive, exploitative, or otherwise harmful behavior, including conduct that happens through the service or is reported to us in connection with use of the service.
